Price List and Program Features
Note: If you are a cabinet maker who makes his/her own doors then Cabinet Pro is the program you should be investigating. Cabinet Pro allows the making of doors and cabinets. Door Pro is specifically for those shops that make and sell doors - without cabinets - to other cabinet shops. If you are a cabinet shop that also makes doors for other cabinet makers, then you may want to purchase both Cabinet Pro and Door Pro.
Door Pro, software for the Manufacturer of Cabinet Doors for other cabinet shops, produces numerous reports such as job costing, bids, confirmation reports, invoices, contracts, unlimited user-defined cutlists and panel optimization. Data Entry allows change of door style per door, change of frame and panel material per door, construction comments per door, multiple sorting of doors in job by style, material, height, and width, and alteration of construction methods per door. If you would like to see a comparison of features of all programs, see Program Comparison.
Supports all drawer styles and allows
user-defined door style library.
Can switch between millimeters and inches at
virtually any time.
You may create your own parts and/or use the
parameter-generated parts.
Each door entry can have its own material,
style and manufacturing definitions.
Dimensioned drawing of each door.
Up to three different sized panels per door.
Multiple inside rails and stiles.
Control over all parts, insets, etc. per door.
Export Cutlists
reports to Microsoft Excel, or to the internal Word Processor.

"7/32").
Multiple sorts according to door style, panel
material, panel thickness, door width and door height in any order.
Bill of material and lineal foot summary
reports for panels & lumber by material or by part.
Allows report on all parts and materials or
selected parts and materials.
Milling dimensions or finished dimensions may
appear on different reports.

Writes G-Code directly to your CNC Router without requiring any other program! |
The CNC Operation, as processed by Door Pro
When Door Pro produces a cutlist, the panels are
simultaneously sent to the Panel Optimizer which produces the G-Code Code behind
the scenes to operate your CNC router. The Cuts that are made
automatically, depending upon your setup, are as follows:
Straight Dado
cuts of any width and depth
Dado may be
cut at any angle with any corner of the part being the reference point
Drilling
patterns where the holes can be of any diameter and depth
Circular
plowing cuts, which are essentially holes larger than the bit's diameter
Arcs defined
by two end points and an arc height
Profile Cut
where each part is cut.
In addition,
All cuts and
drilled holes may be referenced from any corner of each part
Each cut and
drilled hole may be defined as inches, feet, yards, millimeters, centimeters,
decimeters, or meters.
Each router
bit may be defined as inches, feet, yards, millimeters, centimeters, decimeters,
or meters.
Door Pro CNC
software supports routers equipped with a tool changer.
Door Pro
CNC allows all dado cuts and drilled holes, regardless of diameter, width of cut, or depth of cut, to
be made from the same bit! This
feature can save an immediate $12,000 to $15,000 by eliminating
the need for a tool changer!
The only
operations Door Pro CNC software will allow are those needed by Door
manufacturers, such as dado and rabbet cuts, drilled hole patterns, plowed holes
larger than the diameter of a given bit, arc cuts, and profile cuts (cutting out the part
itself).
Each cutting
or drilling operation must be defined per door style.
Defining the operations once for a given door style, for example, will be defined for all
doors of that door style, regardless
of width and height.
Limitations of Door Pro CNC Software,
A limitation
of Door Pro CNC software is the arc cut. This is the only cut
within Door Pro CNC whose width cannot be user defined. The arc that is
cut will be equal in width to the width of the tool (bit) being used.
Door Pro
CNC software will not generate code that is useful in the making of exotic
signs, or 3D objects, such as moldings, table legs, etc. Door Pro CNC
is designed for cuts that are used exclusively by the Door manufacturer. These
include dado cuts, rabbet cuts, drilled holes, bored holes, and arc cuts.
Door Pro
CNC software will make raised panel MDF doors based only upon the tool
(bit) that is being used to shape the raised panel profile.
Supported CNC Routers within Door Pro
CNC Routers using G-Code:
Most CNC routers read an industry standard
language called "G-Code". In order for Door Pro CNC to operate
your router, your machine must accept standard G-Code instructions.
Other CNC Routers: If your CNC router uses a language other than G-Code, please contact Siskiyou Products to determine if Door Pro CNC will accommodate your machining needs.
Please Note: If your CNC router requires code that is unique, we may need to modify Door Pro CNC. Or if you have a tool changer, then we may need to alter our code to accommodate your machine. These are relatively simple tasks and will be done at no additional charge, as long as you are willing to help test the modifications, and the changes are not extensive.
